I love this app but for a week now everything I try to watch freezes up on me and if this keeps happening then I want my money back bc I'm not going to pay for something I can't watch. Please fix this problem. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it is still doing it.
App suddenly stopped working on my tablet a few days ago. I've uninstalled app, reinstalled it, restarted my device, shut off device and nothing works. I've tried watching from Web browser on tablet and it keeps directing me to the app that keeps timing out unexpectedly. I've also asked the company about changing subtitle color to a brighter one to make it easier to follow as I'm hard of hearing, company keeps telling me how to turn subtitles on. I keep responding I know how to turn. I give up.
Revise to three stars. Minus one star for the difficulty of getting signed into the app. Minus a second star due to lack of expected information about movies in the catalog. For example, no audience or critic ratings; no information about the native language of the film, and with limited exceptions, there is no information about who is acting in a given film or who directed the movie. Fix these shortcomings and I will increase my rating.
It will stop in th middle of a show and it will be hours or the next day before it will continue. Other than than that its great.
Happy with service a little annoyed that I'm paying for the premium plan and still get the occasional add but other than that has alot of my favorite shows
This app needs some serious work. Worked ok 1st time I used it, was a little slow casting but was doable. 2nd and 3rd time it's taken over an hour and a half to watch 27 minutes of a 45 minute show. It takes forever to load, then pauses every 3 seconds to load, then kicks out and needs restarted to watch another little bit. Now won't load video at all. Serious lag issues that need to be addressed.
The worst app! One TV program errored out 5 times in an hour.So guess what - each time it stopped and gave me an error message, I got to listen to double ads. Then it went back to the beginning of the show. I believe this is a way to frustrate watchers into buying the more expensive package without ads. Disgusting way to fleece customers.
They fixed the issue of the app not working. But I pay for the service and they still show ads. The annoying part is the ads are for paramount Plus. I'm already subscribed, you goofballs, what else do you want from me? It's long ads too. 30 seconds and you can't skip it. *It's not a technical issue, it's how their app is supposed to work. They are literally showing ads for their own service and it's 100% intentional.
For the cost of admission the adds aren't too bad, but why the same 3 adds everytime? Mix it up a little! Give some add time away for a little variety if you have too. The video content on the other hand is AMAZING!

The mobile app always some error. Even when I download to watch offline there are error and I can't watch what I downloaded. Disappointing because I pay for Paramount. If I'm paying I expect it to work.
Everytime I watch it makes me download again. I'm still in my free trial and don't think I'll be continuing. If this gets fixed I'd change my star rating and continue a subscription. ***update*** didn't give 5 star because still has some issue with downloading again when trying to watch a show but not everytime.

Cant reset password. When clicking on the link to reset it takes you right back to login screen. Therefore its tellin you to login or signup. No place to change password. Very frustrating.
Not enjoying this app so far. If I am paying for a premium why do I have to watch commercials. I mean I can just record and skip that on my directtv. So why pay the premium for this app? Is this intended for those who only use streaming? If so say so before the buyer purchases. BTW why is your biggest show not on the app???
While watching Criminal Minds.. I noticed Season 9 episode 24-Demons, is missing. This is the last episode of that season & when the show started Season 10 episode 2, previously on Criminal Minds, & showed that episode I thought I skipped it somehow while binge watching. However that isn't the case because that episode is on Netflix, I don't want to watch it on Netflix I want to watch it on here. Just wanted to let someone know that you guys are missing an episode, so those who binge stay here.
No problems at all. I've been using the app for a couple weeks. None of the issues that I've been reading about, have happened to me. It may be that the commercials are louder than the shows, (not 40%), but I find that to be the case with apps.No buffering, no re-starting, just plays and reracts as predicted to any actions taken.
Decent streaming service. App is responsive, has comparable features to Netflix, which is generally considered to be the standard nowadays. Could probably use a brightness setting. Biggest issue I've found is that if you have downloads to watch offline you cannot get the app to start so you can even access those offline downloads, defeating the entire purpose of downloading them for offline viewing. Frustrating to find that out while you're away from cell signal.
It needs too much bandwidth to run. Most of America doesn't have access to highspeed and this is a failing on Paramount to factor when Netflix and Prime work perfectly at lower speeds.

This app is the worst designed streaming app I have ever used. Across every platform if used it on. Fascinated how this late in the game Paramount can have sank $0 into a program that doesn't glitch. Starting a new episode there will always be some sort of message error displayed over what you're watching. Exiting the playing episode will send this app into full crisis mode crashing it instantly. You have to close out of it to play the next thing. Even the the commercials don't load right 😂.
Out of all the streaming service apps Paramount plus is the worst experience I have ever come across. Slow when browsing for shows or movies, constant buffering, commercials all the time and they don't even show. You just hear them. Also se episode of shows won't even work causing you to have to skip the episode and move onto the next. Paramount please get it together cause you are giving streaming services a bad name. At least the the other services we have work flawlessly
So far so good. I would give it 5 stars but I can't find the bellator events like I thought was on hear also....figured out that I was misunderstanding and all is good. No problems so fat and I've had it several months maybe even a year
Streaming quality is fair at best. Trouble loading certain shows. App is slow.
I love Paramount but the app is missing a "cast" feature where we can cast to other devices on our network like TVs.
The worst app ever released to the public. It was always slow and apparently designed specifically to frustrate the user, but has now transformed into nothing but a list of programming that cannot be accessed at all. No matter what I choose to watch, I get one of two messages: "OOPS!" or "ERROR." I only purchased it to watch 1883. I can live without it and will be cancelling it immediately.

I'm only giving it 2 stars cause I do like the content on this app but the service itself is terrible, buffers every 1 min or so even when I'm on great internet and full bars. That makes watching anything frustrating and irritating and makes me want to cancel the subscription which I will after the show I watch premieres its season finale. Definitely isn't worth the trouble of this app.
The app is a bit slow to respond but I've had a much better result as of late watching shows without the error message popping up, so yay! Some work has been done to correct issues. It's appreciated.
The issue I reported was caused by my current location, for now the service is not available in my location and I can't complete a subscription. I appreciate the support team actively responded to my support request and even gave me the option to evaluate their service with a survey. I hope that be changed on the future, looking forward to be able to subscribe.
Little slow for phone,so had to download shows so I could watch with out pause delays,over all show selection is pretty good.
The app onnout TV has not worked for 2 months or more. I downloaded the app I n my phone and broadcasting it to my TV works great!
It's ridiculous enough that I pay yet still have to deal with commercials. Let alone the fact I cant watch an episode of something without buffering every 30 secs making a 45 min episode take an hr and half to watch. I want to watch a couple shows but is it worth paying for this buggy app?? Starting to think not and may have to find more creative ways to watch the couple shows that interest me. Do better.
When live games (like champions league) are finished, you can't watch the replay for several hours. If you watch live, you cannot start from the beginning. These are fundamental flaws that must be fixed. It's ridiculous for 2021. I am happy with the lineup and the amount sports available, but the lack thought that went into "what if the viewer is 40 minutes late to the game?" is beyond comprehension.
No "Next episode" button or way to skip episodes in a tv series, no way to skip intros, no rewind, no fast forward, no way to do a lot of things that most pay-for apps have. It's out of sound/video sync a lot, Might as well be free, with all the things you don't get with this app. So, now I'm stuck on hold for over an hour with your technical support. All the customer support does is stick me on hold forever. P.S.: Who do you think I called???
TV casting (Chromecast) doesn't work after many attempts. Every commercial kicks off break in continuity of casting. Please make your chromecast functionality more robust.
Worst app!! Actually 1 star is too much it deserves -105 stars. You watch 30 seconds & it buffers for 2 minutes no matter what device I'm on. I'm canceling it in a month! I'm not going to pay for something I can't watch! The buffering is RIDICULOUS, I watch it on my phone, tablet & computer & it does the same thing on all. Actually I already cancelled & they tried to give me 50% off my next 2 months. To watch a 43 minute show it takes an hour & a half. DO NOT! DOWNLOAD THIS APP!!
Dark screen too often, will not load something/ content unavailable. Netflix works better! Don't watch Netflix much anymore, just my go to, when Paramount don't work.
One minor problem is the show I was watching stuttered but the commercials didn't.
The app had a nice setup. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because more often than not upon logging in I get thrown an error code then have to log out and back in a second time for it to work. The error usually resolves itself after logging back in a second time though. Overall pretty good experience and lots of great content to choose from.
The constant lagging and "error cannot play" is ridiculous. Every other app I have works fine - but Paramount ...NOPE. You can watch (maybe) 25 minutes of a program and then it just stops, up pops the "loading" circle jerk for a solid 72 seconds. The program continues but only for a couple seconds & it's back to the loading again - this might happen for 2 or 3 times before I get so irritated I just shut it off completely or the error message pops up and I shut it off & go to a different app.
Honestly pretty decent, however some things could be improved, such as taking you to the TV show list in the 'recently watched' rather than going in the 'my list' over and over

I tried Paramount, Peacock and Discovery for the free trial, to evaluate which one had the better content. (I use Fubo as my main app.) I didn't even wait before I dropped Peacock and Discovery . I LOVE Paramount!! I can watch any show commercial free, especially Star Trek Discovery and Picard!! If your looking for a seconded app to catch up or watch new shows, look no further. 😁😁😁
While there isn't a whole lot of content that interests me personally, i still think that this app is excellent. It's easy to use, and aside from some issues(which is possibly due to my dated phone) i haven't encountered anything too problematic. Edit 12/23/21 I've changed to a 5 star rating, after using for a month i thought the service was definitely worrh subscribing to again.
With so many choices of streaming services available to us, content is king. BUT without a clean, simple to use and responsive front end interface the content means nothing. The Paramount app succeeds and brings us what we want, when we want effortlessly!
App has been great. No glitches that I've encountered when I am streaming shows. Nothing more than I can ask for.
App works great on cell phones and tablets, but it's terrible on Samsung Smart TV's.
Content is great. The operating system needs some work. Slow on some TVs, especially my Vizio. Browsing content isn't simple. The phone version does not allow a picture in picture option for scrolling your phone while still watching.
